New breed of property auctions ‘like a drug’ – Domain
Many visitors to this site will know that way back in 2007, Australia’s first online live webcast real estate auction took place on this website. Webtron helped the real estate agent Harrington Earl make history selling a Melbourne property above reserve. And it was sold online for $526,000AUD, to a bidder thousands of kilometres away in Perth, Western Australia.
It was our vision for the future of not just property, but other assets including automotive, industrial, collectables and livestock. But this online auction technology first was the genesis of Webtron as we know it today.
